Privacy Policy

Effective: September 17, 2026 · ~5 min read
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information CreditBloom collects, how we use it, and the rights you have under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

1.1 What we collect

When you apply for or use a CreditBloom membership, we collect:

  • Identity information — your name, date of birth, and contact email;
  • Billing information — your payment method details, processed by our PCI-compliant payment provider (we do not store full card numbers on our servers);
  • Banking information — the email address associated with your Canadian bank account, used solely to deliver your Interac e-Transfer bonus;
  • Usage data — anonymized information about how you use the member portal (course progress, login times, device type).

We do not collect your Social Insurance Number (SIN), and we do not pull or store any credit-bureau information.

1.2 How we use it

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide and operate your CreditBloom membership;
  • Process subscription payments and deliver your welcome bonus;
  • Communicate with you about your account, course updates, and support requests;
  • Improve our courses and platform based on aggregated usage patterns;
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

1.3 Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share information only with:

  • Our payment processor and Interac e-Transfer service provider, strictly for the purpose of processing your payments and bonus;
  • Our hosting, analytics, and customer support service providers, all of whom are bound by confidentiality agreements;
  • Government authorities when required by Canadian law or in response to a valid legal request.

1.4 Your rights

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Withdraw your consent to our use of your information (subject to legal and contractual restrictions);
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data after your membership ends;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@creditbloom.ca.

1.5 Cookies and tracking

Our website uses essential cookies to maintain your session and remember your preferences. We also use limited first-party analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or behavioural tracking pixels.

1.6 Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active and for up to 7 years afterward, as required by Canadian tax and consumer-protection record-keeping rules. After that period, your information is securely deleted or anonymized.

1.7 Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information — including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3), encrypted storage at rest, role-based access controls for our team, and regular third-party security audits.

Terms & Conditions

Effective: September 17, 2026 · ~4 min read
These Terms & Conditions describe the specific commercial terms attached to each CreditBloom membership program. They apply alongside our Terms of Service.

2.1 Membership tiers

CreditBloom offers eight membership tiers. Each tier has its own payment amount, number of payments, and welcome bonus:

  • Starter — 3 payments of $145 · $250 welcome bonus
  • Silver — 4 payments of $150 · $350 welcome bonus
  • Gold — 5 payments of $172 · $500 welcome bonus
  • Platinum — 6 payments of $180 · $600 welcome bonus
  • Diamond — 7 payments of $200 · $800 welcome bonus
  • Elite — 8 payments of $220 · $1,000 welcome bonus
  • Premier — 9 payments of $290 · $1,500 welcome bonus
  • Black — 10 payments of $350 · $2,000 welcome bonus

All amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclusive of any applicable taxes.

2.2 Payment schedule

Your first subscription payment is charged immediately upon activation. Subsequent payments are charged on a recurring schedule for the total number of payments associated with your selected tier. If a scheduled payment date falls on a non-business day, payment is processed on the next business day.

2.3 Failed payments

If a scheduled payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to three additional times over a seven-day period. If payment cannot be collected, your portal access will be paused until the outstanding balance is resolved.

Failure to bring an account current within 30 days may result in termination of the membership. The welcome bonus already paid is non-refundable in this case and any remaining program balance becomes immediately due.

2.4 Welcome bonus conditions

The welcome bonus is paid on the condition that you remain an active member for the full program length you selected. By accepting the welcome bonus, you agree that early termination of the membership outside of the 7-day refund window will result in the welcome bonus being deducted from your settlement balance.

2.5 Early settlement

You may settle your membership early at any time after the 7-day refund window. The settlement amount is calculated as: (remaining payments) − (any unconsumed bonus pro-ration), less any applicable administrative fee disclosed in your member portal.

⚠ Important

CreditBloom is a financial education membership and not a credit product. We do not issue loans, perform credit checks, or report any activity to Canadian credit bureaus (Equifax Canada or TransUnion Canada).

Your participation in CreditBloom programs has no direct effect on your credit score, positive or negative.

2.6 Modifications

We may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of your membership after that period constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3

Terms of Service

Effective: September 17, 2026 · ~6 min read
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CreditBloom website, the member portal, and the financial education courses provided by CreditBloom ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or activating a membership, you agree to these Terms.

3.1 Who we are

CreditBloom is a Canadian corporation providing online financial education content to members across Canada. We are not a bank, a lender, a credit reporting agency, or a financial advisor. Nothing on our website, in our courses, or in any communication from us constitutes individualized financial, legal, investment, or tax advice.

3.2 What we offer

CreditBloom offers paid membership programs that include:

  • Access to a library of self-paced financial education courses for the duration of the program you select;
  • A one-time cashback welcome bonus paid by Interac e-Transfer on the day your membership is activated;
  • Member-only support through the channels published in your portal.

3.3 Eligibility

To become a CreditBloom member you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your province or territory);
  • Be a resident of Canada with a valid Canadian email address and Canadian bank account capable of receiving Interac e-Transfers;
  • Not be a resident of the Province of Quebec;
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

3.4 Payments and program length

Each membership program has a fixed payment amount and a fixed number of payments (3 to 10 depending on the tier). Your first payment is charged at activation. Subsequent payments are charged on a recurring schedule until your program is complete.

After all payments are made, your membership simply ends. There is no automatic renewal.

3.5 The welcome bonus

The welcome bonus is a cashback incentive paid to you in exchange for joining the membership. It is not a loan, a credit advance, or a financial product. It is not repayable and does not accrue interest.

The welcome bonus is delivered by Interac e-Transfer to the email address on file, typically within a few hours of activation and no later than the next business day.

3.6 Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your membership within 7 days of activation for a full refund of all amounts paid, provided you have not consumed more than 20% of the course content for your tier.

After the 7-day window, you may request to settle the remaining balance of your subscription early at any time. Our support team will provide a settlement quote based on the payments remaining and any applicable bonus pro-ration.

3.7 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials or grant access to your portal to any other person;
  • Reproduce, redistribute, or republish CreditBloom course content in any form;
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Canadian law;
  • Attempt to interfere with, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform.

3.8 Intellectual property

All course content, copy, graphics, video, and platform code is the exclusive property of CreditBloom and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. Your membership grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and view the content for your personal, non-commercial use during the term of your membership.

3.9 Disclaimers and limitation of liability

CreditBloom course content is provided for educational purposes only. We make no representation or warranty as to any specific financial outcome, credit improvement, or return on investment. Any decisions you make based on the content of our courses are your sole responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreditBloom's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you paid to CreditBloom in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

3.10 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
